An impressive performance was capped with this fine finish and with SAF in attendance, it would have done his confidence the world of good as he settles in at United. The 18-year-old was bought for £4 million from Crewe this summer and looks all the part like he is going to mould into a great player. He may not be ready for first team football just yet but if there is a footballing school that is great at nurturing talent, Carrington must be it.
