Manchester United Complete £4m Deal to Sign Chilean Hot-Shot Angelo Henriquez

Long term Old Trafford target completes medical.

Chilean striker Angelo Henriquez has completed his medical ahead of a move to Manchester United.
The deal to take Henriquez from Universidad de Chile to Old Trafford has been in place for some time and the 18-year-old is set to seal the switch.
Sportsmail revealed in June that he was closing in on a switch to Old Trafford.
The teenager spent around three hours at Bridgewater Hospital in Manchester on Tuesday and the transfer will cost in the region of £4million.

Sir Alex Ferguson has apparently been monitoring Henriquez for a few years now and have now won the race for his signature.
18 year old Henriquez is considered by many as one of the hottest prospects in South American football and his introduction to the Universidad de Chile first team would appear to suggest that the young Santiago born forward has a bright future.
Henriquez netted 11 goals in 17 league outings for Los Azules and this has led to a number of Europe’s ‘elite’ scouting the starlet and Man United may well have stolen a march on their competitors.
Ferguson has made picking up young talents from around the globe something of a habit in recent seasons, perhaps feeling that such a transfer policy is more cost effective and sensible than splashing huge sums on established stars.
The Man United boss has brought in the likes of David de Gea, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Javier Hernandez and seen them make instant first team impacts and may well look to Henriquez to do likewise if a deal can indeed be completed.
