Inter Milan Ready To Rival Manchester United For Lucas Moura

Italians still keen on Sao Paulo winger.
Inter Milan are ready to rival Manchester United for the signature of Sao Paulo wonderkid Lucas Moura.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has denied that the Old Trafford club have reached an agreement for the 19-year-old but confirmed his interest in Lucas.
It is thought that Sao Paulo are holding out for a fee of around £30 million for the Brazil international, who operates predominantly as a right-winger.
It is understood that Inter are keeping tabs on the situation and are ready to rival United for the youngster’s signature.
Inter’s president, Massimo Moratti, has confirmed that the signing of Lucas remains realistic, despite the inflated fee.
“Lucas is not just a dream but an objective,” said Moratti, according to Football Italia.
“We are certainly thinking about him, but we’ll have to see if there are the conditions in place to close the deal.”
Lucas is currently in the UK with the Brazilian Olympic squad and Ferguson is thought to be confident of concluding a deal before the end of the Games.
The Scot will not welcome Inter’s interest, however, which could lead to a bidding war and an increase in Lucas’ already hefty price.
